FRANKFORT, Ky. (May 29, 2019) — The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources is selling three bison calves.
The department will receive sealed bids until June 17 for the animals. The calves, a bull and two cows, will be sold as one lot, not individually.
The successful bidder must pick up the animals from the Kentucky Fish and Wildlife campus in Frankfort within three business days of bid award notification.
Interested bidders wishing to view the animals or needing more information should contact Shawn Mackie weekdays 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (all times listed are Eastern) at (502) 892-4512 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. All questions must be submitted via email to Mackie no later than 3:30 p.m. June 10.
Sealed bids must be received by 3:30 p.m. June 17. Bids received after this deadline shall not be considered valid. Bids must include printed name, signature, address, daytime phone number and bid amount.

Bids shall be opened at noon June 18. The highest bidder will be notified of bid award by 3:30 p.m. June 18. Kentucky Fish and Wildlife retains the right to reject any bid found unacceptable. If awarded bidder has not made arrangement for pickup by 3:30 p.m. June 21, the next highest bidder may receive the lot. Certified check, money order or cash only. Payment is due in full at time of pick-up.
